There are many of us on this subsection who have some great expertise. I know a lot of the great posts are buried, so my question to you all who want to make their millions in the solid real estate professions: what do you want to know? Should we bring up old topics so that new people see them, or are there new areas that SteveO, AroundTheWorld, and others can answer that have not yet been discussed? Personally, I think some of the old posts have some of the best info. Shall we bump them up for any of the newer 12,000 registered members?

Well, being someone who has periodically contemplated investing in real estate, and still plans to eventually, I would assume the best place to start with these sorts of things would be answering the basic, and simple questions.
But, since I doubt anyone here wants to go through everything of that nature, I imagine one of the first things that would be amazingly helpful would be a stickied list of books worth reading, and what particular real estate subject they relate to. Then, you can always refer people to that list, and specific books on it, depending on their question.

That, I'm sure, would be a great place to start; and a great help.

I need more education about no money deals and finding deals I can bring to the bank without getting laughed at. My goal for 09 is to purchase my first piece of commercial property. I have 4 sfrs and a duplex now and they're not cutting it.

Gotta get bigger. Can you help me out a bit here?
