What's stopping you from achieving your goals? How are you overcoming these challenges?
Mine are:
YouTube binge watching. I have added focusmode to my chrome browser and leave the app on so that it blocks YouTube. I deleted YouTube and social media off my phone aside from LinkedIn. I keep LinkedIn on, because it can help me capture a lead or new connection if I respond quickly.
Overspending: After saving a large chunk of money, I had a month where I didn't track my finances and overspent. Now, I have aggressively attacked the areas where I was spending, and I have got the problem under control. Yes, I see people riding around in their new cars (85% are financed) and have some envy, but I'm much financially freer.
The desert of desolation: It is easy to loose faith or start to doubt myself. However, I'm grateful for the challenge as it will help me get thicker skin. As I acclimate to this process, the sting of someone responding negatively to my work doesn't really have the same bite as in the beginning. Elon Musk is the wealthiest person in the world, creating mind bending technologies. Yet a significant portion of the population hates on his success. Perhaps inspiring hatred is a sign of success.
Self limiting beliefs: I had a belief that I couldn't do sales due to my introversion. MJ DeMarco is also introverted and seems to be doing just fine for himself.
