What to do with 30k

Absolutely, get around the people who you want to be or have similar interest with. How did you become a part of that investor circle so quickly? Just hard work? Good with people?.
I always wanted to have some sort of office to provide counseling and mentorship To the public. Anyone can walk in and leave enlightened. That won't be very profitable but it's what I want to do.
As far as business ventures. Agriculture, solar panels, and real estate. Are categories that really can have some upside in my opinion.

I went out, made sacrifices and took action. I quit my 100k/year, 30 hour per week job w/ benefits to network with them with no guarantees (only made 30k my first year working alongside them).

It sounds like you're not willing to do the hard work though from your replies. What I would do with that 30k in Real Estate could likely earn me an extra $1,000 per month of ongoing mostly passive investment income--- you on the other hand would likely end upside-down trying to do the same thing and lose all of it.

There are other people on here who could take your 30k and make a 300k/year online business out of it. You try to do the exact same thing and will fail miserably because you don't have the skill-set they have.

The best thing you can do right now with that 30k is to lose it and learn a big life lesson. You need to actually start doing things rather than asking for the quick solution.

I am leaning towards index funds mostly. But I would love a faster return.
