What is the best way to monetize porn in 2013???

Let's say I have a bunch of exclusive porn clips in a popular niche. How should I go about making money with this?

From what I know there are three options.

Set up a pay site. This would be difficult based on the amount of free content flooding the web. I enjoy a good XXX flick on occasion and I never pay for it. However, I'm sure millions of people do.

Next would be clip sites. Clips4sale and similar sites allow you to set up a studio to sell individual clips and I have heard people making some decent cash with this. The site takes half but they have the traffic and they handle all the billing and BS you just need to keep the content coming.

Last option would be just set up a blog. Give the stuff away for free and try to make money with ads.

Internet marketing is a part of the business world I know nothing about so I would like some opinions on this.

What would you guys do to turn some porn into quick cash? Thanks! :coolgleamA:

I wouldn't.

I'd drop it and look into doing something else, but hey, that's just me.

Besides the obvious (against personal values, wouldn't want family/friends/book readers knowing about it, etc.) why would you say this?

I'm curious.

OK so let's just say "content."

Whether it's porn, work out videos, cooking recipes, etc, etc.

Can you make good money with selling ads on a free blog style site? Just wondering if it would be worth my time if it wasn't a paid membership site.

Hoping someone with some web marketing experience can chime in here. Thanks for reading. :tiphat:

You're probably better off asking this over on gfy.com tbh but yes, the major tube sites are making a lot of $ from ads. A lot of affiliates moved onto adult inventory when more mainstream sources became less than welcoming. The major sites are doing pretty huge traffic volume though, and ship a lot of bandwidth. Paysite conversion for adult is something horrific like 1:1500, the tube sites didn't help there!

Besides the obvious (against personal values, wouldn't want family/friends/book readers knowing about it, etc.) why would you say this?

If you had 2 businesses sitting on a table and you could just pick up one of them get started, would you pick:

1. The business that has a nearly infinite amount of similar goods on the market at a much lower (free) price?

or

2. The business selling something with little competition that people are happy to pay for?

Could you find a way to make money selling rocks that you pick up off the street? Probably. But if your goal is making money, wouldn't it be easier to do so by selling practically anything else?

The last option may be work however I like to watch porn clips but I don't want to get paid from it. I hope it doesn't violate any laws.

Is there still money to be made with paysites in 2014? When I check sites like pornhub, theporndude and xhamster, I think that all the money lies in ads.

Why would anybody still pay for porn these days???

I agree with that. Myfreecams etc must turn over a crazy amount of $/£ yearly.
Estimated profit of $60k daily.

Well what I've learned the last day, is success online comes down to authority and fame. If you want to be an authority and famous for porn, success does come down to your personal character and the way the world sees you.

So if you want to be in the lime light for that, well you have to walk in your shoes no one else. Sex sells no doubt. The woman that wrote fifty shades doesn't care what people think of her, she's got the money. Just depends on what you stand for, what your values, and morals are, and how you want the world to see you?

Can you handle the judgments? Can you handle the stress? Can you handle the negative criticism? You don't know whether your site will go viral or not. At the end of the day can you handle everything that comes with it? How does this have a cause and effect on relationships you have now. Are you prepared for the good and bad?

There is more money in publishing then there is in producing...record deals pretty much mean owning publishing rights...instead of focusing on how to make money with your own content..figure out how to make money with other peoples content first and then drip-feed yours in until they want more of your exclusive content

I'm no expert but doesn't it violate the law of entry and sometimes the laws of nature?
This reply in this context made me laugh.

I know a few people who were doing XXX stuff online. They all went to cams. There is a whole niche of cam girl marketers out there.

IMHO, this is the wrong attitude to have when building a business.

Quick cash is just that, it's fleeting.

Grab a web cam and do porn yourself. Not.
To be honest this post sounds like a horny guy who just wants to get laid and then run quickly :mooned:

Did you ever wonder when visiting a porn site, why clicking on a video would open another tab with an ad?

Each video is literally click bait. You have to open the video 2x or even 3x before your video opens.
