Wow I never knew dentists priced their services vastly differently from each other. I thought there was kind of standard
Different quality standards too.

My cheap teeth clean from a big chain dentist was $120 and 20 to 25 mins, average result.

Paid well over twice as much with a highly rated dentist that took an hour and did an amazing job with far superior equipment.

I just paid $18 for eye drops because I didn't want any fancy weird products that make it sound more "natural" healing properties are in it

Everyone on the roads today in Cancun. Wish I had a flying drone or a 'Mech.
The fact that I had to physically be at the Notary Public to rectify their mistakes and proofread everything with a fine comb to make sure they didn't make any more (they did...good thing I checked)
The retail store not having the parts in stock that we needed and having to go to their logistics partners warehouse to get it.
But yeah, most of all traffic. Would be great to have a James Bond car with the ability to drop a bunch of nails behind me or flamethrowers.

My husband went grocery shopping with me tonight. I had knee surgery about 6 weeks ago and I'm still on my crutches. He HATES to go, but he ran out of milk today for his lunch. I reminded him a couple days ago, but it wasn't important to him until he had to drink water with his lunch. He's a mess to take shopping. It's so funny for me to watch him trying to figure out the isles of food. And he was like taking a kid who adds all kinds of stuff to the basket. He picked up 2% milk -- that he won't drink. He had to take it back to the milk case and exchange it. Then we got up to the check stand. Checking out was very slow. The lady in front of us had her groceries broken down into 3 orders. My poor husband has no patience for any of this. I tried to tell him that all of this is normal. All these events happen just about every week when I shop. And then we had to put all those groceries away...

I like this!

Today, it was a badly written UX registration for switching credit card processors. First, they required my account number, in numeric numbers.... what account number? they didn't say. It turned out to be the platform account number. And 'numeric numbers' just hurts my head. We're not done yet though! They wanted the owner's and manager's name, email, address and phone. Which I had to enter twice because there wasn't a button saying 'click here if this is the same person'. Also, pet peeve: the zip code data to prefill town and state is readily available, why on earth am I still having to put in all that information?

Answer: hire better programmers, and have some dope off the street test it. sheesh.

Oh, yeah. I HATE shopping. What a waste of time. Bring back 'here's my list, give it to me'. Oh, we did! Except that the stores will make substitutions unless you tell them not to. But I don't even do that - my husband does all the shopping!

He was so funny. I tried to explain that everything at eye level and with in arm's reach is high profits for the store and manufacture. I told him to look up and look down. It all fell on deaf ears. Taking him to the store increases my grocery bill about 40%. And I'm sure that we really needed all that stuff he threw into my cart!

What inconvenienced you today?

Actually yesterday...

See here:

Bone-headed executive decisions to deliver an improved result produces the exact opposite results... kinda like taking a pill to lose weight, but instead the pill makes you gain 50 lbs.

What problem did you run into today? Did something inconvenience you?

I'm going to start posting every inconvenience I come across even if it's dumb. I want to get better at seeing problems and needs, feel free to do the same.
What I like to call lack of grey hair syndrome. I am a land developer/broker, and I’m damn good at it when I’m organized (notorious flaw on mine). At 28 you typically don’t see many individuals who are purchasing larger tracts and pitching deals to institutional type builders, but nonetheless its a constant proving grounds type of situation. Say la vie.

I used to read ebooks all the time on my phone allowing me to either copy and paste or jot down quick notes by a simple switch of an app. After ending up with too much eye strain I switched to physical books..

My inconvenience comes to taking notes, I don't want to highlight inside this book for if I come back to read it again and I like a clean book. It's a inconvenience taking notes on a separate piece of paper. How can I take notes while still being able to focus on my book while on the go? A. Phone Notes B. Separate Piece of Paper C. Inside Book D. A book holding binder to aid in quick notes.

Guess I should work on my problem solving too ;p

Ha! I got a solution for you.

get an e-reader like Kindle device, or Kobo. Read books there without any eye strain.
Next, get ReadWise app. You’ll love it.

I didn’t know they made phones with the black ink screen!

I love those Kindle screens so much that I recently bought a Remarkable 2, a tablet for reading PDFs, taking notes etc.

Why not write the notes on the blank pages at the beginning or the end of a book? That wouldn't distract you much when you re-read (still a "clean book") and you don't need any extra pieces of paper

This looks like a good spot to dump this.

There's two or three computer based skills that:

1. I won't use enough to justify in depth education on (time vs personal value)
2. I can't grasp with short non personal tutorials easily
3. Are important enough I don't want to relinquish control off by paying someone.

An in person specialized computer education would be great.

In the great rat race escape the female protagonist hires a chemist for a few hours to educate her in person on what she needs for her recipe's shelf life. An in person fiver of sorts where I could take my laptop in and sit next to a field specialist for a couple hours and work through my headache in person would probably bring a premium profit to someone and hugely fix my problem
.although I don't know if it's anyone else's problem.

Ultimately I'll eventually figure it all out. And learn a shit ton along the way but there's def a business need in there somewhere, lol.

I didn't have any bread in the morning, so i skipped it :p. lol

Breadminder app? App that reminds you to buy bread.

Bread.com
A one stop solution for all your bread needs. Types of breads you should be eating, full nutritional profiles of different breads, bread making tutorials, bread history :D
How about an app that uses your location + notifications that recognises when you're in a store and reminds us to get that pint of milk or bag of bread...? Lol
