Why not both? You can position the main feature before the "coming soon" features, it could make for a more compelling offer.I'm making a landing page for my start-up and I'm wondering if I should promise the main features that we aim to implement at some point in time (but will not be in the first MVP), or just the one main feature that will actually be offered in the MVP?
Try to focus on the benefits instead of the features on the landing page though. People buy benefits, not features, so express aim to express that in your copy.
For each feature, you can imagine you're sitting in front of a stony faced target customer, and you tell them the features. They then ask, "So, what? Why should I care?" That's one method you can arrive at the benefits.
Maybe you can post a link to it here when it's done so others can review it as well?
