I had a weird dream recently in which I was back in a high school math class (definitely my worst nightmare), and someone asked me "What do you want to do when you get older?"
I said something along the lines of "I want to improve the world wholly and completely. Invent new forms of clean energy, make housing/water/food/transport affordable or free for everyone, design cities to be integrated with nature, build real communities instead of suburbs, undo climate change, use materials from space instead of mining out our own planet" and so on.
While all of this sounds wildly ambitious, in this brief moment of lucidity in my dream, I was being 1000% honest. That is what I want to do with my life and I feel that is my purpose. To invent things that help people/save lives, and improve the world by influencing policy.
But this makes me curious.
What are others in this forum's meaning and purpose (as mentioned in UNSCRIPTED )?
