If you look at a Facebook page of a competitor of yours, you can easily click on a post that preferably has a large number of comments, likes, etc.. If you click on the interaction number, you will see the private profiles, and you should take a closer look at them.

There you will find the job title. 90 % of people on Facebook reveal their occupation. These are your target groups and if you do this in great detail and analyze 50 to 100 profiles, you have the perfect target group. You don't need any agency for that.

Now, of course, there are also people who don't give out any information at all. That's why there are so-called lookalikes. These are nothing else than twins, which are perfectly tailored to the target group and Facebook knows these twins inside out.

Why does Facebook know them? Because they also access offline databases. Many don't know that. Facebook knows which doctor you go to, what car you drive, what income you have, all of this even though it is not visible. That's why even those who don't provide any information will see your advertisement, because Facebook targets them via lookalike.
