First and foremost, this is a NO POLITICS thread.
So be good, and show restraint. Everyone else here does-- you should, too.

What is happening right now in the Middle East is unprecedented. I am not looking for comments on whether this is right or wrong (in fact, I don't WANT those kinds of comments-- this is not what this thread is about).
Here's what this thread IS about:
For years, countries around the world have stayed OUT of other countries, respecting their sovereignty. Exceptions have been made when genocide occurs (Boznia/Herzgovenia), but this is rare-- and often done after months or even decades of bloodshed.
If you are new to "world watching" (I'm betting many here are), I'd like you to look at what's happening right now in the Middle East. A majority of world powers are backing regime change towards democracy in a number of countries (Egypt, Libya, and several other quieter skirmishes). This includes Russia and China, who often protest or veto-- they are now abstaining, or not acting.
My question(s):
•Do you think regime change to democratic rule will change the dynamics of the Middle East?
•Are you surprised at this change of international policy?
•How can you/me, as fastlane entrepreneurs, take advantage of this change?
