I am an international student at a grad school at San Diego. There is a huge demand (atleast 1000) for custom insurance at my school due to the fact that the university recommended insurance costs $1800/year.
1.Though this might seem to be a acceptable premium for the US residents, it is frowned upon by most international students here, given that more than 95% of the students never claim anything on their insurance.
2.There is a health center on campus which takes care of most of the primary needs, so we don't go to the hospital for any reason. We were brought up in not so clean environments, so we are resistant to most of the common illness in the US.
3.Most of the prospective customers are between 22 to 30 years old without any pre-exisitng conditions.
I was wondering if there are any insurance people out there who can come up with a custom plan for us that saves a lot of money for us and in-turn create more business for you. Thank you
