Upwork: How The F#*@ Do I Build A Portfolio? (Answers inside)

This is one of the first obstacles I encountered when first starting on Upwork so here's the steps I took to make my first (A humble first) mock landing page for my portfolio.

1. Open up Wix
2. Click Get Started
3. Create an account
   
   You should be here
   
   
   
4. Hit other
5. Choose Template
   
   
   
   
6. Scroll down to landing pages
7. Click your theme
8. Create

So there you have it! You can set up a MailCheat(Chimp) (Or any other analytic for testing) and now you have a piece for your portfolio

Here's my mockup (Very bare bones, but hey, it's my first time)

And for the Copywriter newbies, I used the A.I.D.A format.

Attention: Engulfing pictures with the statement "The Evolutionary Shoe* (Remember you've probably got about 2-3 seconds to showcase that ad before the goldfish attention span is lost)

Interest: Product descriptions

Desire: Run longer, save money

Action: Buy now button
