Update on my project I bought in Sept. Here's a link. We got the two lower units rehabbed and rented out. I have a waiting list of prospective renters for the upstairs units. I also have begun talks with several banks and other lenders about cashing out after all units are completed and leased.
While I have been cleaning the outside neighbors continue stopping by to ask what my plans are for the property. I always tell them that I want it stable and quiet. Also, I give them my card and tell them to call me if they see anything wrong. Two of the closest neighbors have even introduced themselves to the tenants as the neighborhood watchdogs.
I am off my JOB until Jan. 7 so I hope to make great progress with the upstairs units and have them leased before 1/31/08.
