My coworker is working on his Personal MBA and one of the books is from Richard Koch, called The 80/20 Individual.
The idea is that you should focus in that 20% that you are great at and that will bring 80% or more of your positive results. Or at least that's what I got from what he explained to me.

The goal of the questionnaire is to identify one's personal 20% spike, or "distinctive strength", that they do easier/better than most others.

So my coworker sent me this questionnaire requesting my feedback.
I thought it was a very good way to find out what others see as your strenghts and will help you to recognize them.

Twenty Percent Spike Questionnaire[1]

  1. What sort of thing really excites (andviv)? What have you heard him be most passionate about?
  1. Imagine that (andviv) becomes famous in his lifetime. What possible things might he be celebrated for?
  1. What is the single most distinctive thing about (andviv), that defines his individuality? What is the most idiosyncratic thing about him?
  1. What do you think (andviv) would be happiest and most fulfilled doing?
  1. What one thing is (andviv) best at, and better than anyone else you know?
  1. What occupation/role do you think (andviv) is best suited to?
  1. Think imaginatively about a different arena or activity that (andviv) might be excellent at, preferably far removed from his current job. Be creative and surprising, perhaps not entirely serious.
  1. If (andviv) were to start a new venture that becomes extraordinarily successful, what might that new venture be? Use your imagination.
