Im finding out it can take up to 18 months to actually get your trademark accepted. Now im wondering, an advertisement we are all seeing around is VISA gobiz. Now gobiz is a new product launch. So what did they do wait 18 months to get the trademark on gobiz before they launched? This seems crazy how it takes so long, what are companies doing, spending millions of dollars and applying for the trademark the same day and praying it goes through. From what i have been learning it seems no matter what search you do it will not guarantee you your trademark.
