Hello all,
I stumbled on this forum while searching for reviews of Dane Maxwell's courses online (heard his first interview with Pat Flynn and it really struck a chord with me). I read TMF , signed up and have spent the last week or so devouring the information in the free sections. It's probably time to introduce myself before I dive into the INSIDERS forum.
Background - I gave up my full time job to retrain a few years ago and gained a sensible professional qualification in something I didn't really want to do. A few half-assed job applications later I decided to go it alone and have been working part time while 'dabbling' in IM, Kindle books and other faddy projects ever since. For some reason I fixated on online work and disregarded B&M type businesses (I wanted to be free to work on a beach, just like the gurus promised). But I slacked, procrastinated and dreamed and never really gained much traction in any of them.
I think I'm disillusioned because I've been chasing the dream of money and not adding value, and it never sat right with me.
Some of the posters here are just amazing - so inspirational and so action focused it's mind-blowing.
Enough focus on 'me'. It's good to meet you all.
