Let me start out by saying I have absolutely no experience building websites or blogs but I do have a ton of experience in the field I plan to start writing an ebook about. It's not the sexiest niche but there is a market for it and it isn't oversaturated which I feel can be helpful. I guess the first step is to actually write the ebook and then worry about the website and marketing plan. I am going to start a blog in the next couple days and start building up content...probably just a standard wordpress blog and play around with different themes. Since I'm not experienced in building sites and am on a budget would the best route be to outsource this part or dive in and go the old trial and error route. I really just don't want to spend a ton of time to build a mediocre site. I also plan to offer a free version of the ebook to generate some buzz. Any advice is appreciated...especially from those of you who are in the same boat or have already written an ebook.
