So i have
1) Claude Code vibe coding my slicing game, it has all the context of what the game is, all the different architectural experiments, decisions, results and conclusions.
I have been frustrated with the performance of the app in emulator and on device, it just didn't make any sense to me why the performance was struggling considering the scope of the project.
I asked Claude Code several times to figure it out, we optimized in many ways, but at the end Claude Code told me there is only so much performance we could squeeze out of React Native approach due to Javascript limitations and Hermes etc etc and how we could try Node V8 but ios wouldn't support it anyway so we're stuck"
So i gave this explanation to ChatGPT which i have spoken to about the slicing game more casually, it has some context to what we're talkign about but not the hardcore engineering implementation details that Claude Code did.
ChatGPT quickly basically said "uhhh no actually we can compile to C++ and run natively and it would be super fast"
I gave the answer to Claude Code and it was like "oh yea... right... i didn't even consider it because i was so set in my ways from our experiments."
So the human parallel is literally a human being that is set in their ways, "can't teach an old dog new tricks" type of people.
Then someone externally with no history comes along and "thinks outside the box"
ChatGPT was this outside the box, simply copying Claudes reasoning into chatGPT exposed the native C++ approach which i now had claude implement and it SOLVED the performance problem COMPLETELY, we're now running butter smooth gameplay slicing.
Not only that, it exposed new graphical approaches, and physics approaches, so now the potential in the app has exploded, all because i asked chatgpt to give a "second opinion"
Just sharing this cause this was a HUGE breakthrough in my vibe coding.
