So many times we know what we should do, but resistance holds us back.
We'll binge on YouTube or whatever instead of doing that thing.

Well the answer is very simple and non-intuitive.

Here's what you do:

Nothing.

Just sit there with no distractions and do nothing.

And what will happen is you will get bored as shit.

And since the brain hates boredom more than anything else basically......

It will force you do do that thing instead of just sitting there.....lol

Motivation is for losers.

If you can't even make a to-do list and stick to it, NGMI.

Count down from 5,4,3,2,1 and then you'll get up and do the thing you need to do.

Get a partner that you have to meet at the gym and you'll always show up.

To-do list the night before.

Change your environment to make it effortless to do the things you need to do.

Short and simple.
I like your message and I can say it's pretty much it.

Just eliminate distractions.

Quick fix:

Look at any watch and observe how the seconds of your life are going away forever. You are being eaten alive by time itself. Each passing hour brings you closer to the grave.

Every day that you decide to waste, brings you closer to being an old loser that has wasted the only life they'll ever have and failed to achieved his dreams.

Once you get to that point, there is no turning back. Life has a very strict "no-refunds" policy.

Close your eyes and let the fear sink in.
Now let's get to work.

Imo, the start of the day is the most influential. So if you have an awesome/succesful morning routine, then things are just easier to do.
I've been waking myself up at 4:20am in the past 2 days and I put my alarm across the room, so I had no choice but to get the F*ck up. I'll see how it'll work out in the long run, but so far it has been good!

I like this one. Sometimes you just have to do the hard thing. Countdown, take a deep breath, and then... make the phone call, do the workout, etc - whatever that hard thing is.

That’s exactly right. You don’t get a second chance.

Not to mention how short life is. It really is short.

It truly is a sad and tragic feeling when one thinks of all the time and potential that was wasted. All just for some fleeting hedonistic impulsive behavior.

You need to wake up and be scared of the auto-pilot pitfalls of human nature.

When you don't feel like doing something, imagine if someone is standing behind you. He then pulls out a Glock-19 and put it to your temples.

gun to the head.jpg

The gruff Russian man then says in a deep voice,

"IFFF you don't do this shiz your family is going to get it firsT. Then I'll come for youUUU".

Just imagine the pain, horror, and guilt you'll feel if your family is gone because of your slight procrastination.

After the cutscene, you take a deep breath and put your butt down to get back to work.

Morbid, but always works like a charm every time.
