I feel like the internet is still in its infancy and we are just now realizing its potential through social media and instantaneous communication. Being a bit of a history buff myself, I feel like this will be a massive paradigm shift like the printing press that changed mass communications back in the 1500s.
Which had a massive change which accelerated the renaissance era (1500s- 1700s) , where people started to CREATE on their own and taking people under their wings and training them on a mass scale which allowed for a massive technology growth.
I feel like we will go through a 'second renaissance era' we might be going through it now where people are creating on their own and sharing it to the world without gatekeepers and high cost manufacturing investments.
This is a massive advantage for us Deaf business owners and many others that were suppressed by natural means.
Even now, entrepreneurship and financially independent is becoming a 'sexy' buzz word for the general population.
Like all of history, most people are looking for the easy way out which will lead to failure for many. However, the barriers to entry will continue to drop with platforms like shopify and easy home production with 3d printers, desktop cnc's and lasers. Enabling more creation and business opportunities which will drive tons of prices down.
I believe that there is a large boom of small businesses that is coming and that wave is currently moving past it's trough and will reach the peak very quickly.
I believe that we will see many small web stores pop up on the internet and ad prices and influencer prices will skyrocket in a very short amount of time. (I'm talking wihtin the next 4-5 years)
My thoughts here, are how can we make sure we are ahead of the pack, we here on this forum are mostly naturally driven entrepreneurs and is already ahead of the curve but we have to stay on top because eventually we will be drowned out by the crowd.
What's your take on the future of the entrepreneur playing field?
I feel like we here can position ourselves in a place of advantage to support the communities we live in and give people real paying jobs that will last lifetimes.
