I believed working for myself would be the dream, I had bough into a lot of the hype IM marketing that quitting your 9 to 5 is the END GOAL, but in reality it is the starting point.
As we learn in the millionaire fastlane first when you redeem your time, real progress can take place. But it does not make it easy. Creating habits, making yourself accountable, motivating yourself is HARD !
This picture below illustrate my mindset/feelings since quitting my job:
It is crazy how high, and how low you can go in short amount of time. 1 week can feel like 1 month..
When I go too many days without a sale, I feel like going trough the desert, and when I get that water (sale) it is the best feeling in the world. When I produce results for my clients, when I get great feedback I am waking up excited !
I do not know why you started a business, but for me I was longing after the feeling of excitment. I was living in the mindset of every mediocre man, depressed from media, thinking the world would go under, negative attitude towards the rich etc.. all I was longing for was the morning I wake up for christmas as a child. Point of the rant:
If you want to be EXCITED about your business you should not aim for:
- quitting your job / work for yourself
- earn money on your passion
- Do what "you love"
You should aim for market feedback, and you will find all the excitement in the world there... (video link)
