The Nine Main Principles from Miyamoto Musashi's book of five rings explained by yours truly. Instead of convincing you of how they are relevant and how much they connect to the Fastlane just read what's ahead and stop being so entitled.

jk :p

1. Do not think dishonestly.

In other words, don't lie to yourself but most importantly don't lie to others. Don't scam or deceive people.

2. The Way is in training.
See my "The Process of Grinding" tread: Here

3. Become acquainted with every art.
Know how to change a tire, how to build a website, how to run 5km, the constellations, no knowledge is too good or too bad for you to absorb. I believe it is better to know something you don't need than to need something you don't know.

4. Know the Ways of all professions
That means that just because you are not a botanist you shouldn't refrain from learning about plants. Everything matters.

5. Distinguish between gain and loss in worldly matters.
Ex: Right now for you it turns out that you know that playing video games equals few gains (story line, entertainment etc.) but much loss (time) and building email list = much gain (speed, luck, money) and few loss (not leveling up your character, not being a loser)

6. Develop an intuitive judgement and understanding for everything.
Even if you think you know something, it turns out that you only know as much as only your ego can conceive and there are 98% chances that someone in your city knows at least a shit ton more than you.

7. Perceive those things which cannot be seen.
Have a vision, at least allow yourself to have one. If you have faith, your can perceive signs. If you are a mother, you can feel when your child is in danger or unwell. But most of all if your gut is telling you something, then you must LISTEN to it and go all in.

8. Pay attention even to trifles.
Even the smallest details count.

9. Do nothing which is of no use.
That just means no Facebook.

You hit a wall because the best advice isn't free—it's earned. Since 2007, MJ DeMarco has been active here daily (99.9% active rate), building a war room for entrepreneurs who refuse to settle for mediocrity.

  • Active Daily: Life-changing content posted dozens of times every day. No dead threads.
  • MJ's Inner Circle: Direct access to the author of The Millionaire Fastlane.
  • Vetted Network: Connect with founders scaling to 7 and 8 figures.
  • Proven Roadmaps: Strategy over motivation. Execution over "hustle porn."

"Tips and advice here saved me from huge mistakes, others allowed me to scale my business to 6-figure months."
— User MitchC
"INSANE QUALITY OF PEOPLE"
"The number of high quality people I've met from this forum has been insane. All of it predicated on building real value."
— User Richard Peck

"You are the average of the five people you surround yourself with."
Are you surrounding yourself with success?
