Hey whatsup guys this is Shonit.
Anyway , the point of this post is to make you aware of your hidden power that can really change your life forever.
Many of you might know about it or have a vague idea of it.
I'm talking about your gut feeling.
Yes, it is the most powerful thing that you have in your possession and it is accessible to you at all times.
It is the true reflection of your values and beliefs in life.
The gut feeling involves complex calculations taking place inside your brain that your consciousness is not even able to comprehend.
I had this strange realisation yesterday.
I was only making 30 sales calls a day.I had this strange feeling in my gut that 30 calls are not going to get me anywhere .
I kept ignoring my gut feeling and still made 30 calls between meetings and all.
However, this feeling was going unanswered and kept coming back.
I decided to listen to my gut feeling , and raised the number of calls to 50 . Still the feeling was there that asked me to increase the number of calls even more .
To increase the calls beyond this point meant that I would be calling 6 hours a day ,and putting aside the extra time for the meetings and the work.
I pulled that off and now I am seeing noticeable results.
There is however one big problem that prevents you from accessing this power.
The problem is-
Your brain exaggerates the fear or the pain in taking future actions.
What do I mean by that ?
This happened to me on many occasions.
Consider this
You are about to make a sales call after a week off from the business .
Your brain comes up with shit load of excuses.
It taps into your fears and survival instinct that if you made a call , your value in the society is going to decrease blah blah or you are going to get rejected.
But once you make a call , it does not feel that bad.
The other person on the line is just a human.
Another personal example from my life.
I used to pick up chicks ,and there is this term "approach anxiety" in the community.
The first set ( the first girl you approached ) was always difficult . Once i approached , all the anxiety and fears subsided. Making a sales call is quite easy compared to approaching a random girl on the street.
The point I'm trying to make is that your brain elevates your fears and pains associated to certain actions multiple times .The brain makes you afraid of illusions.
How do you counter it ?
By taking actions.
And take those actions based on your gut feeling.
I could be wrong ,and I apologise in advance if this goes against the fastlane community.I am just a soldier fighting a war of freedom.
This is the realisation that came to me , and I wanted to share it .
to achieve the freedom , you have to follow your killer instinct , because that is where you will find your core confidence .
