I just saw this movie today (it comes out tomorrow), but it's a great movie about the collapse of the economy in 2008. I would love to read the book now.

Something I want to mention about the movie is how much those bank lenders resemble MLM CEO's. It's almost like they want you to pay really high interest rates just so they can make more money...

Sidenote: Book is SOLD OUT.

Exceptional movie. Many fastlane lessons. Lots of information on how markets work AND how they're created. Shined a light for me on real estate and how either knowingly or intuitively why many real estate investors are getting out of residential right now as there's a clue at the end as to what the banks are up to again. What the main character trades today is frightening. Saw it last night. Will see it again. I didn't really find it to be funny though, but I'm a pretty serious dude.

The book is a very interesting character study on people who saw and exploited misappropriated value in the market. Michael Lewis is my favorite author. I read everything he puts out. Working on his latest book "The Undoing Project" although it's been a little boring so far. I liked "Big Short", "Moneyball", "Flash Boys", and "Liars Poker" amongst his works.
