Hello,
My name is Benno and live in Sweden. I read MJ's book a couple of months ago and I think that is the best book ever written on business. I also wrote an email to him to thank, wich he answered. Then I signed up for the forum and spent some time reading, posting.
The best in the book was for me to see how important is to create value and help other people, instead for thinking "how to make money". And this is the way I can motivate myself. I could never motivate myself to sit down and think " I wanna make x amount of money, what I am going to do?"
In the last 15 years I read a dozens of books, bestsellers in the category, but none of them was so honest and "easy to understand" like MJ's.
About myself:
That was 15 years ago I first met Amway in Hungary. I was really active, networking, meeting, talking to people and go to seminars, trying to sell products. It was a very good school, did for two years. Did college in the meantime- HR manager. But later on, I have never worked as an HR manager. I worked on Disney Cruise Line a while(galley) and came back to Europe and settled In Sweden. Now I work as a bus driver in kindergarten, have a 2.5 yrs old daughter and live with my fiance.
I think my strength are curiosity, flexibility and that I really care about others, willing to help. I never stop to learn.
I also got a lot of weaknesses that I aim to improve. Time management, laziness and side walk, slow lane actions I take time to time.
After I read MJ's book I bought some domains and started to about my vision and my organisation. So I am on the way. I am going to post later on about that.
