Hey guys, was just pondering about the amount people would pay to foretell their destiny in life, especially in the stock market haha, some would sell their souls, even kill for a crystal ball... But also the vulnerable with little to no faith in them selves that can't see past tomorrow, people who have loved ones that are gravely ill and want to know if say there's a funeral coming up or a miraculous recovery, if there's gonna be new beginnings or their just curious! Who isn't curious.

The point is my girlfriend has for ever sent chills down people's spines with her readings, I don't like doing them as I want my decisions to be un influenced by a deck of cards but we both feel she should start making something more of it than a hobby, she enjoys it and people seem to come away enlightened, surprised, sad, ecstatic and occasionally unfazed.. That is until something happens in their life and they recall their reading, relate the two and ring her back to get another one! She's turned sceptics in to believers, give people comfort, scared the shit out of some and amazed the majority.

BUT... They've all been free, who wouldn't try it once or twice if its free...

Has anybody else had experiences with tarot readers or even séances? And do you think it's a load of BS or something that regardless of it's genuinity could be sellable to the general population based on peoples pain points and curiosity, would love to hear your opinions!

Cheers
Regards
Karl

Curious, what does this have to do with Sales, Marketing or Copywriting?

Yet

I wasn't sure what to post it in to be honest if you could tell me? I thought I could relate it to marketing as its a service.

MJ DeMarco

Thanks for moving it over, didnt even spot that.

With a tarot reading you are basically selling people certainty/confidence that they lack. I would leave the moral qualms about the truthfullness of predicitons aside.

It can become a well-paying career for your girlfriend if she want's if she uses the law of effection (reach out to mass audience). But fastlane? I don't know. There is only so much readings you can do per day. Look at Erin Pavlina for an example of well earning psychic (not Tarot reader though) - her prices are jacked up to the maximum. Another good strategy for your GF would be insinuating herself in the rich&powerful circles. There is the need for certainty even there - then the prices can be even higher and many other opportunities present themselves. How corrupt are the politics in your country? Or maybe the celebrities are a better target?

I've seen people trying to fastlane tarot or other predicitons via online lead acquisition. In that case, there is no need to do any readings yourself. Just slap together a website that would appeal to desparate women & looks 'spiritual' (violet hue, glowing elements), write a general cold-reading text (I have a prediction just for you! Give me your email and receive a personal report...). Google will never rank this website high, so you have to pay for leads. I don't know anything more about this model, since I was simply helping one of my clients to be paid for those leads by some website of this kind.

Anyway - this looks murky, sure. I wouldn't go this way bcs I like to feel integrous (consistent), and there are parts of me that would not feel ok with doing any of the above. But if you can spin your head and tell yourself you are doing good for people (giving them confidence & hope) there are opportunities here.

I don't believe it. I think its just stupid.
But there is a market for it - https://www.fiverr.com/misscrystal

If your Gf enjoys cold reading and it helps people why not?

In that case said:

What government isn't corrupt man haha! And yeah, the rich and powerful are sometimes poorer mentally than the "poor" in poverty who are content with nothing but food, water, shelter and family.

Well she believes in her service so I can imagine it's not even something she'll have to pitch to people, she's already In a decent career though, ultimately the plan is I'll be fast lane enough for us to both work from home and she can do what ever she wants/loves. I'll check Erin Pavlina out though, I love learning about this stuff.

It may be murky but I see it no different than selling makeup to desperate elderly woman who want to look youthful or teeth whitening product's to someone with yellow teeth, both are sold easier because of their insecurities and aren't even healthy! Everything's not what it seems so yeah I can wrap my head around it haha, cheers.

Godspeed

If they are coming back when something happens, give 1 session free and when they come back, charge them for the second one.

In my humble opinion, I would caution to stay away from occult stuff in general.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
