Since you're making the trip from Newcastle, do you have any preference for the meetup being Thursday or Friday?

I think Friday would be best, that way we can have a few drinks or whatever and not worry too much about work the next day (for those of us stuck in the slowlane haha)

Just come along and soak it up then. I haven't been to a Fastlane Meetup, but I've been to similar events, and it's just a chat, discussion of business ideas and throwing stuff around. I know personally I have business ideas I wouldn't throw into a forum due to it being an unnecessary risk giving out my niche, but if I meet some cool guys in person that are clearly busy on their own stuff it could be very valuable for me to throw the ideas at them and see what they think.

The last meet up we had in January we just had a drink in the cafe and went to dinner afterwards. We basically talked a bit about our background and what each of us were doing. Nothing formal. It was just great to meet up with people with similar mindsets and values towards business.
