Just an idea, what do you all think..? If people are already with a 24/7 gym chain like 'Anytime Fitness' or 'Plus Fitness' or 'Snap Fitness', are people willing to meet up at a gym-venue that is central (or easy to access) to most..? That way can get two things done at once (networking & exercise-session-for-the-day), and get some thing to eat after it.. Reason I specifically mentioned a 24/7 gym is that way can meet up early morning or even late-evening/night without having to worry about "when does the gym close?" type questions when normally dealing with a non-247 gym
I am a member with 'Plus Fitness 247' chain, but I think there are far more accessible 'Anytime Fitness 247' venues around Australia - so if it is worth, I may consider joining Anytime Fitness if a lot of the forum members are with them already anyway and make it easy for everyone. Only thing I am concerned about is Anytime Fitness is a 15-18 month contract I think, where as Plus Fitness is a '2-week' revolving contract for a similar weekly bill-charge-amount as Anytime Fitness
Of-course this type of get-together would not replace like a coffee-shop meet-up or meeting at a hotel rented conference hall or a community-centre/library rented conference hall, was more so just an idea that I wanted to see how others would feel about it if they were already gym members of a certain chain anyway
