I'm watching the Superbowl and am paying attention to the commercials.

Name your favorite commercial and why it stood out.

What was the problem the product or service was trying to solve?
  • External Problem?
  • Internal Problem?
  • Philosophical Problem?

Foxsports.com skipped on me during the Brady commercial that just ran. It said "all good things must come to an end" then froze... Did he just announce something?

It was a commercial for Hulu

People suspected that Brady would retire or get traded since he is aging

External problem - people want good content on a streaming channel, subtle shot at cable

Internal problem - Brady reliably plays exciting games and they are equating that to Hulu

Philosophical problem - don't quite see it here, maybe the idea is to pick one reliable and exciting channel

Bill Murray, duh!

The moment I saw that alarm clock my face lit up.

2nd place the Ellen DeGeneres one where they ask how people did before Alexa

They kept anchoring the Tide commercial and it worked on me at least

Repetition and unresolved tension

Haha they transitioned well from a story about feeling comfortable and at home to being comfortable with them as a lender, with humor too.

So much Nostalgia! The groundhog giving him a dirty look when he was playing that groundhog smashing game was hilarious.

I had the radio show as an alarm tone for quite a while. One of the few movies I can rewatch once I’ve seen it. Ironic lol

Not trying to get political, and I didn’t vote for the dude, but the only commercial I remember is the one with a lady that had a life sentence for a non-violent offense that got out of prison because of prison reform.

That’s external, internal and philosophical
