Subscriptions question

How do you remove subscriptions?

Whenever I post it starts a subscription to that thread so I get emails. I've found out how to change individual subscriptions to 'no alerts' or delete them.

But how do I set it to not start subscriptions by default.

Click on QUICK LINKS and then click on EDIT OPTIONS. Scroll down a little bit and you can select NO EMAIL NOTIFICATION.
