The first time I heard Gaga's "Born this way", I was surprised to be 'playing' Madonna's "Express Yourself" in my head while listening to the Gaga song.
The two songs were so similar to me, I literally did a mash-up in my head.
I should qualify this by saying that my brain doesn't work this way-- while some folks are brilliant at doing mash-ups of 2 different songs, I am not.
I appreciate a great mash-up, but do not have the aptitude to do it.
I figured if I heard the 2 songs together, I couldn't be the only one.
I was right:
