Should you go for solving problems that require you to break through science?

I was watching a cartoon show "Doraemon" in which a cat-like robot named "Doraemon" from the future, pops out of a time portal in Noby's top desk drawer.
Doraemon has been sent back in time by Noby’s great-great-grandson, Soby, to change Noby’s legendarily tragic life for the better –
thereby improving the lives of all of his descendants to solve his daily life problems.

That robot has amazing gadgets like if you make one you will solve a trillion-dollar problem, for example:
An anywhere door: just open the door thinking about a place and it will lead you there.
Time machine.
Small light: can make anything small.
Big light: can make anything big.
etc.

These all solutions are applied to C.E.N.T.S but they all have too high entry rates.
So my question is should you go for solving problems that require you to break through science?
