I am almost finished with a new website that is a subscription based vertical advertising platform.

What is the overall opinion about offering a free trial period to my advertisers-are there any studies about the optimal length for a free trial?

I think on one hand it will be good because it will give my customers a chance to see that I really can deliver what I say, and be a great resource for them. One the other hand, growth will be slower and my investment will be much more. Thank you for your opinions.
