Should i give up my current business and focus on the family business?

Backstory​

I am 18 at the moment, & my dad wants to slowly retire and have me as his apprentice for his Small business ($1M+ a year / 3 locations in iraq) it is in the real estate industry, and we sell doors only at the moment to groups who are building mini cities and apartment projects.

Me working on Drkleo a skincare company making $0​

Im here working on a skincare company called drkleo.com with the vision of having natural healthy ingredients for the whole routine from shower -> post shower as i struggle with that problem alot... i have gotton 6 sales, $40 in my bank, stressed, want to give up.. and work on the family business..

Why i think i shouldnt give up even with $0​

My vision and plan is to stay here in the UK, scale this company to $1M a month, then exit and sell it after i systemise everything, see my theory is by the time i make all the small $500 mistakes and learn all the lessons books dont teach you such as hiring a good editor, knowing how to talk to a manufacture, how to hire a good accountant ect ect... THEN i will be prepared to take over the family business by 24 years old.

See if i make a small mistake in my dads company, it will cost $50,000 loss, as our avarage order value is $10k for customers, and $300k for b2b...

Asking for your input​

and also im working towards my MBA in business, aswell so for the next 3 years, shall i just focus on my company and learn / grow that, get a internship at a bigger company to see there systems and process ect... or shall i just give up and focus on family business now?
