Saw this on my FB feed and watched it, kinda interesting cause it's conspiracy type stuff. He's definitely using "fear" to sell his book, so take it with a grain of salt but if the facts he presents are accurate, it's still interesting to think of imo.

Take it with a pinch of salt... when you look at a monthly timeline vs weekly timeline, you'll see different pictures (perspectives) - that's just the way things are... some people use this to sell something, it's called news hijacking in marketing speak.

There are a lot of things colliding at the same time in September and October 2015. Several of the people (including the producer of this video) are cashing in on it. It also might create a self fulfilling prophecy (such as the financial markets in turmoil because of everyone thinking the financial markets will be in turmoil). The banks are solvent...until everyone rushes them.

I think we're in a pretty volatile time right now, but I think this is fueled by many people for many different intentional reasons. Great wealth and power is always accumulated during great times of instability.

I'm done chasing conspiracies. I think my best bet is to continue doing what I am doing, continue educating myself, and not do what other people do. People seem to make really really bad choices these days. One drive to my kids high school proved that. Why did all the kids there have cars that cost more than either of my two cars? What SMART parent hands their 17 y/o a $20,000+ car, plus insurance? How come all the kids and poor people have much newer smart phones than me? How come all my friends on FB are posting pictures of their expensive vacations, and I have never really ever been on a vacation? How come so many people are dying of cancer and heart problems?

I don't need someone's clever doom and gloom ad copy to get me making better choices.

As a economics major and nerd and a libertarian, I've thought about this type stuff a lot. Here is my take on it.

Disregarding all the Shemitah stuff, which I'm not so sure about, there are proven facts that must be reckoned with. The US Government and the Fed are doing insane financial things that have never been done before. Massive amounts of printing, QEternity, suppression of the interest rates, etc. This will eventually have consequences, and I don't really see them stopping this behavior any time soon.

But, everything is relative. We aren't judged in a bubble, we are compared to all the other countries and currencies out there. So compared to Spain, Italy, Greece, etc, we are looking pretty good. A lot of that money is fleeing to the US.

What it essentially boils down to for me, is that I need to keep moving forward as fast as possible. It isn't like I have 20k that I can spend on silver and gold, so I'll be more or less screwed either way, haha. Also, its not like businesses will just shut down if we have currency problems - thing will always keep moving forward, and there will always be opportunities available for people who are gunning for them.

But long term, yes. Something bad will happen eventually, and it is wise to put part of your portfolio toward diversifying into things that will help shield you. It might be in 5 years, might be 100, but something will happen sooner or later. You can't spend astronomical levels of money without having side effects.

The FED and global banks have created an economy based on 0% rates and tons of gaming of the system. Something bad happens every other week but is covered up and not fixed. Entreprenuers are not focused on this as it doesn't put money in their pocket. Same for poor/middle class.

in essence its a clash of big hedgies and big boy money flows. Anyone can go to zero hedge and get their doom porn. Don't need berwick for it.

Even libor was confirmed as a scam/rigged market.

We better not talk too much, they might out this as not being relevant to fastlane forum.

Yep. The thing that gets me is the whole economy is centered around constant and neverending growth. Nothing works that way.

Busts will happen, and need to happen. A bust is essentially allowing misplaced capital to go back to something more productive. When they meddle with stuff, they push the small bust off down the road, but then it just gets bigger. Then they push it off again, then it grows. Sooner or later they cant contain it and it is mega-bust. I wish they would just let the small busts happen and not accumulate.

The smartest, most brilliant cerebral guy I know (a true MENSA nerd) won't talk about the forthcoming United States economic collapse. He's a financial advisor to many multi-millionaires, so he doesn't want to talk much about it. Freaks everyone out.

But he studies all this stuff.

And he believes a complete and total economic collapse in the United States (with China as the catalyst) is not a question of IF...

but WHEN.

When hyper inflation kicks in, and the United States dollar is worthless... your ATM card is worthless... imagine that day. Not if, but when. And he believes it is within our lifetime.

I guess i should rush back to the Israelian embassy and pick up my passport in case i have to hightail back to russia when the riots start in the streets?

What do you guys think will happen to the smartphone market if the dollar collapses? WHat will google and apple do to stay afloat?

Is it silly of me to pursue an app based fastlane that's dependent on androids and iphones?

This all reminds me of Y2k. I'm not going full on prepper mode, but it wouldn't ever hurt to have the same items on hand and a plan if you were to need to live off-grid for a couple of months. I'm not in the position to go full prepper, so there is no point in focusing my thoughts on it. Perhaps the dollar will go bust. That means that there will be incredible opportunities available at some point. The videos that display some big military presence really makes me laugh. Why do I care about that? I won't be the guy in the street rioting. If I own property, a business, or whatever, guess what else will be hyper inflated?

Just thinking about the debt that the US has, which works out to be like 150k per US citizen or something crazy like that seems like it's literally impossible to get out of.

They owe a good portion to China as well. So if it's pretty logical that there is no way to get out of this insane debt, maybe they have something in place to wipe it away clean? But if the US dollar is going to be useless, what takes its place, BitCoin lol? Seriously, what could take the place of the US dollar that pretty much the entire world uses as a "standard"?

The thing is it doesnt have to happen. Tons of the debt is fraudelent debt. Criminal fraud and civil fraud.

The debts can be wiped and stuck into the real people and companies who played this evil game to the brink, Jubilee for the people can be an option

Is there something about the entrepreneurial mindset that correlates with believing in this crap? Because I'm continually surprised at how many of you believe in nonsense.

LOL that the United States of America won't be solvent in our lifetimes. It's the wealthiest nation state in the history of the world. If everyone started with that premise I think they'd draw more sound conclusions.

This thread specifically, for god's sake, is based on Biblical prophecy and "seven year cycles". Be rational. Stop reading Infowars. Build your business and stop living in fear of whatever Glenn Beck is pushing.

I'm thinking this guy is holding a large amount of physical gold and is trying to find buyers. Gold has lost almost 50% of it's value in the last few and recently confirmed the downtrend will continue. Fed has been threatening a bump in rates. Dollar's been GAINING strength and has been putting in a base while waiting for the increase. More disposable income out there due to lower fuel costs. And the timeline lines up with where he sold his company in the 2k's right when the gold trend was in it's infancy. He's a bagholder

I agree to some extent what you're saying, but keep in mind that Rome was also the richest, most powerful country on earth too. They didn't collapse because some people attacked and invaded them. They collapsed from the inside. Similar to what the US is doing. Their debt and welfare programs are unsustainable.

Collapse in our lifetime? Not sure. Hope not. But the road they're traveling it will happen, no doubt about it. Timeframe is the only question.
The entire system needs to be reformed to have a hope in avoiding it.

I don't believe in this. I think the financial system is more resistant than many think. It will be pushed back again and again via new financial tricks.

In my opinion, there is way too much geopolitical stuff going on right now with the goal to maintain the status quo. If this battle is lost, yeah, then a massive collapse can happen.

There's always going to be some event or another that could hit the financial system. It's best not think too much about articles like this, otherwise you'll start taking a short term focus and making panic decisions.

It's best to take a long term approach by investing yourself and working to create multiple streams of revenue. Doing this is hard, but if you can do it, you'll be immune to the financial system, as if one stream closes, you've still got others going to allow you to move forwards.

at this point, I believe the financial panic /doom is a business in and of itself. People are on youtube, etc making a living on keeping people in fear. Lots of the fear porn seems like various disinfo agents.

NSA documents by snowden reveal psychological gaming of people with the control grid. Much of the stuff is true and we need to do something about it eventually as other pointed out

By the same token, as the grip tightens on small business , big business seems fine with the propaganda and grip tightening.

Keeping people in fear, keeping them good consumers, keeping their eyes off the truth, and printing infinite money/socialist state.... keeps it going and has prevented a proper clearing of the free market. Proper clearing includes periodically wiping out rich evil F*cks ingrained in the system.

that said, we did kinda have one in 2008 right.

As I've said before here, if they ever cancelled debt which they CAN DO at the treasury/fed level, it would be epic.

if they never cancel debt there is a scenario of debtors prisons forming around people eventually. Which side will the Banksters take?

if criminals who are perpetuating this scam are never put in prison and continue to accrue billions then eventually there will be nothing one can do, especially with AI/Robots coming online to integrate with "cloud everything". Look up technocracy. More like techno-crazy

ahhh u know what F*ck it man let the dollar collapse ill just move to the spiritual successor of the US and deal with their currency.

Will it be China? or will it be Russia? who cares man, as long as google and apple don't go bankrupt i can continue making apps :)

And even if the companies collapse as well, smartphones and apps are here to stay! Some chinese company will become the new apple or google and the software i use will update accordingly because they want to stay in business as well.

so what's going on exactly with people's behaviour ?

the US dollar is technically a scam since 1971

but people don't want to hear about this fact

why ?
