Yeah, that was a good one. When he walked in, his presentation materials looked like garbage. Dude puts on some circular band-aid looking things over his nostrils and did his pitch.

The Sharks waere ready to blast him about his stupid idea and Mark Cuban even asked him "ARE YOU SERIOUS??". Then he says "oh by the way... I already have $8Million in orders from Saudi Arabia. I need some money to produce the goods"

You could immediately see the sharks' eyes light up ready to start a bidding war.

This has been my life for the past 3 years…going in front of VC’s and Angel investors, so I can appreciate what these entrepreneurs go through. I think these words from Tony Horton before Ab RipperX best describes how I feel about the Shark Tank…”I hate it, but I love it!”

Do they have a site that does follow up stories on all the products? While the show is interesting and inspirational, a lot more value can be added by the follow up. I have seen a few selected follow ups highlighted on the show but wonder about the others.

I'm sure if you search for the company names on google you will find out what happened. For example I searched for the mma clothing company during season one that got turned down, and saw that he had a website showing his appearance on shark tank.

I love this show and I've sent in an application to get my company on season 3.

IMHO I prefer the BBC version better. I'm not sure if they have new eps, but you can find the old ones online. Less American-reality-show-drama and more discussion about business.

Yea I used to really like Dragons Den too. It didn't have all the mushy stuff that Shark Tank sometimes has but Shark Tank is still great.

There is also a free podcast on itunes that talks about the episodes. I haven't listened to it yet, but I also haven't watched any of the episodes yet.
