Consider Singapore vs HK - its not under Chinese control and the taxes are LOW.

It's the reason I moved from the UK to Singapore and I can put you in touch with my accountant too.

Thank you, noted. I already hired an accounting company in HK and am about to file the papers (probably today or tomorrow based on how fast they were so far) so you're a bit too late but I appreciate it :)

By the way, I'll edit my post about Osome. They are one spammy bunch. I only opened their app twice and they spam me with sales emails almost every day since. Not nice.

Just wondering how it went, did you manage to incorporate & open a bank account?

Yes, managed to do both though the account is on Currenxie instead of a regular bank.

The process was less streamlined than I thought but no major hitches. I had to postal mail the papers to 3E (the accounting / incorporation people) and meet with Currenxie on a video call. Both were helpful and friendly. I gave 3E some feedback and gotten a call that they corrected it. Pretty nice. Overall can't complain.
