Selling books as a side hustle? How do i go about it?

Anything considered a "hustle" and not necessarily a CENTS-based Fastlane

I just got some books delivered from an IG book store that sells books very cheaply in my country.

Usually books cost anywhere between 7-15$ (highest quality) in the 'top' book stores of my country, but this seller and many others are selling books for $1-$2. These books are relatively low quality but readable. Infact they were so fine that I ordered another 10 after my first order.
Also they sell all the books for $1, regardless of the book. Same price for every book.

And they seem to be selling alot. It seems like they have bought IG followers (have around 20k followers, 100 likes/ post tho). This makes it seem like they are reliable and they keep posting pictures of books. Also they have a large variety of books too. They put ads and stuff .

This seems like a very lucrative business. Then again idk how much profit these guys are making but it does seem like something I could try considering my budget is limited.

If they sell for 1.18 each I think they make a profit of atleast 25-50%. Assuming buying price is $0.59(at best) or $0.885(at worst) and I sell them for $1.18,I am making a profit of $59 (at best) or $29.5(at worst).

Also assuming I store all these books at home, I will have no storage costs either.

Again a profit of $60 or $30 may not be alot, but what are your thoughts on this?

Is it worth taking out my $100 in stocks and investing in this venture or just learn a new skill and focus on my studies?

Also I am 18.

This is just a guess but, I'd say they are buying them by the truckloads in gaylords. Then scanning them to see how much they are worth on Amazon. Then they send the big profit books to Amazon and sell the rest cheap. Lots of money in doing books that way.
