Seek advise, for my fastlane road in movie making

Dear MJ, Dear Fastlaners

I've just finish The book, and there's a storm in my mind!

I live in France, am 36 years old, no children yet. I work in the cinema and audiovisuel industry as a director assistant in fictions. I have no debts, but no funds either...

I struggle for life, as there's a lot of competition in this field.

Today I want to evolve and become an author and a movie director, witch is worst ! because there's even more competition, and only the bests (artists, story-tellers, and/or people with a lot of connections) rise...

But, this is what I want to do with my life. I want to tell stories, large audience stories, with sens in it! Intelligent entertainment is my CREDO.

This is my dream.

Now what are my problems to solve?

- Creation demand time - And success is never automatic in my field (that's why I want to enter fastlane! for security and confort for creation)
- Is there a fastlane road joining my dream?

• I'm thinking of something with passive income from intellectual property. (novels, scripts, franchises univers like star wars...) But it seems so much out of my reach! And so much linked to my potential talent...
• My second idea was a blog on formation: how to make movies like professionals (from writing a script to editing) dedicated to all the peoples who makes movies as amateurs. and sell ebooks, and/or script doctoring prestations, and formation. But I think this would take me so much time, that I would let my dream fade away, not trying to make my own projects.

Now what are my fears?

- I'm not sure of my talent, and success demand talent. So if I'm not talented, I will struggle all life long...
- I'm afraid that engagment in a fastlane road will take me out of my dream, by consuming my time and energy instead of building my dream.

Now MJ, what would be your advise(s)?
