Hey I thought maybe some of you would know a bit about security systems for homes/businesses. I am in the process of getting a fire/burglar alarm installed at my residence. I also have a lot of people coming and going and I was thinking of integrating something like this for access to my house.
TIAB Visonic TAG-IN-A-BAG Access Control

Ideally what I would like to do is provide each person a card. Nothing fancy. No picture ID. Just a card with their own number and strip. I would like to provide a keypad at the end of my driveway to access through my gate. I would like one for my backdoor and possibly one for my garage. I would then like to be able to access a list of those who have a card and give them a certain level of clearance. All I need for my residence is 2. If I am gone I may want someone to access my property but they can't access my house. Instead of having 2 systems and issuing cards, it would make sense to issue 1 card and grant access to one or both. So my immediate family could with one key card access the property and then access the house. Then if I need someone to rake my leaves I only want to grant them access to my property but not the house. Hope that makes sense.

The thing is if I go out of town I want to allow someone to come into my house and feed the dog, let it out to go to the bathroom, walk it, check the cats etc. I want to be able to go in before I leave and upgrade his account so that his/her key card can access the house. When I get back I want to be able to switch it back to access the property only.

There are reasons why I want this sort of security. We will be installing cameras as well. We have had people walk onto my property at night and snoop around. With 7 kids, a wife, and many people coming and going, this would make the most sense for me right now.

Anyone know of anything out there for a system like that I can integrate into a new burglar alarm?
