Hello everyone!
I'm Adrian...I'm not sure exactly where to go with this introduction, so I guess I'll start with just a bit about myself. I'm a 31 year old accountant. After college, I got my first "grown up" job and stayed with that company for 7 year. Towards the end of those seven years, I began to become disinterested with the company and job. The initial thought was that I was simply bored and unchallenged. Therefore, I began searching for a new job.
It didn't take me long to find something new and relocate. It also didn't take me long to realize that the problem wasn't that I wasn't challenged; instead the problem is that I had come to realize that I wasn't living the life that I truly want. I began to realize that my time is worth more to me than staring at a group of cubicle walls.
I'm still employed working the 9-5, however, my goal is to transition from this life and join the fastlane to enjoy a truly freer lifestyle. In complete disclosure, I have attempted and am still involved in an MLM business. I have a large network, but it is clear to me that this business model will not bring me to where I would like to be. The plus side to the business though is that it has opened my mind to so much more. It is partially the reason that I came to this forum. The MLM re-ignited my thirst for self development, which eventually lead me to TMFL, which I read practically non-stop.
I look forward to growing and learning from and with everyone here. I also hope that I can make the transition from the slow lane. I consider myself to be intelligent and capable of comprehending difficult subjects. I feel that I understand the unlying concepts behind systems; however, the trouble that I am seeing in myself is implementing and then duplicating.
