Rule one stocks

I mentioned this book a month or so ago and to update I've been watching some stocks lately that could potentially provide some nice returns.

CTSH
AMZN
COH - this one is a bit high priced at the moment
BHP

Anyone else??

Well, looking back at the year over year data, I can see why each of those looks enticing; however, with the most recent few quarters of earnings, I'd say only CTSH looks appealing, as the rest have been down from previous years. Granted, of course, this year most companies would be expected to be off.

Though, I will also add, judging by the charts, CTSH is due for a pullback, though it probably won't be too big, perhaps down to somewhere between 29 and 30. It seems to be in a pretty good uptrend, though.

I tried using some of Phil's calculators on his website to evaluate some stocks (I didn't actually read his book, however) and couldn't find anything I liked that met his criteria, mostly because of this year's poor earnings. But, I will say, CTSH is enticing, I'll have to watch that one.
