Anyone have recommendations on good software to write books?

Free registration at the forum removes this block.I've heard that Scrivener is amazing for the reasons mentioned above by @JustKris . If you're just starting out, you could also just use Microsoft Word (assuming you already have it on your Mac). That's what I use, and I haven't regretted it yet.
The hardest part is actually writing the book, regardless of the software. Good luck as you move forward!
Thanks - And "ChickenHawk" by Robert Mason was an amazing read....I've heard that Scrivener is amazing for the reasons mentioned above by @JustKris .
