Reading Positions?

First off I hope I properly categorized this thread, i thought that it might be better displayed in book discussion but whatever here it is. This thread my seem silly to some of you but I'm interested in your input. I tend to read my books while lying on my bed which tends to have a negative effect of my dosing off and think about other things, however when I sit upright at a desk and read my books it suddenly becomes almost like a chore. Maybe its just me but i'm interested in hearing what others have to say regarding this. This thread could even go as far as where you like to read (living room, barnes and nobles, etc.). Where ever you feel most comfortable and able to take in all the information most effectively I want to hear it. Thanks!
