How's it going Fastlaners!
I am reaching out to you guys out here from Canada! It's a long weekend here and I am in my home office producing a home study course and thought I'd take a little break from the work and post here to introduce myself. I will keep it short.
I have always had a vision of me being being successful and not become assimilated to societies norms of the slow lane approach. I was always the one who had a great idea but never executed properly. Reason being was my lifestyle choices were not in alignment with what I was supposed to be doing to achieve these goals.
Many years later and a few successful and failed businesses under my belt I have come to realize that trying to do everything all by yourself as well as live the lifestyle you wanted was a recipe for failure.
What I mean is that I realized that I always wanted to have a business where it would give me the freedom to live the way I want, when I want. But it came with a price. The price was to sacrifice my time now so that I will reap the rewards later.
I was too focused on working on it par-time and going out to party with my friends whenever I felt like it. As you can probably tell my ventures took big hits in this period since I was still in the startup phase. (Didn't have processes and systems or a team)
Today I have a new focus. Capitalizing on the things learned through these 'LESSONS' (not failures) I am back on track to reaching the goals I set out for in the past. Since reprogramming and feeding my mind constantly with literature, media, etc of successful people, my purpose has become more clear and the actions to take to get there have become even clearer. Just reading anything by MJ on this forum I am implementing my fastlane ventures with focused aggression.
