While it's a good idea to have some insurance / fail-safe systems in place when you're going to try something new (starting a business, buying a business, investing in crypto, whatever), eventually you're just trying to rationalize away taking the risk.

After a point, you've gotta stop being a pussy and take the plunge. You'd be surprised what you can do when you have no other option than to perform.

I just want to say that even though I’m getting a ton of media attention that will help further my career... THIS ISNT ABOUT ME! It’s about all the young frogs out there who are confused about their identity. I just wish someone brave enough stood up years ago. I guess you could consider me a gift to mankind? But as I said... I am a huge fan of the podcast My First Million where two guys give business ideas, explain how businesses get created, and interview founders.

Over the years of reading about entrepreneurship and how companies are created, I have noticed the following trend: a lot of the mega-corporations that exist today started in the living room of the founder.

It's been a while since I read it and it looks like a new version. The basic concept is easy enough to understand that you can probably figure it out without the book. But if you're more interested or need more help, it won't hurt to read it.

Printing sections of an adobe PDF.

500 pages, 5,000 annotations and numerous CAD drawings/images...

The best insurance for economic survival is to offer products and services that are still needed during a recession, and being able to raise your prices accordingly.

Another quick rant, this time aimed at lead generation websites...

I absolutely HATE when I click a link that promises to tell me what it will cost to do X in Y location, I click it, and it turns into a 100 question form that at the very end asks for my email address and contact info.

If this is your business model, please, just tell me up front that you don't have what I thought you had. I didn't find you by searching "get quotes from contractors," I searched "cost to build a duplex" (or whatever example).

Just looking for like, a blog article or something, not getting inundated with phone calls and emails.

Such a waste of time.
