This is probably an irrelevant comment, but I wanted to point out that Instagram is owned by Facebook.
It's not an irrelevant comment at all. Instagram is already displaying the same behaviors that Facebook started displaying a few years ago. I have no doubt that within 1-2 years you'll have to pay for exposure the same way as you have to pay on Facebook and organic reach will be laughable compared to today.
That's the dangerous part about relying on platforms. They keep changing and can ruin your business overnight if you rely on just one or two, as many marketers do. In some ways it doesn't even feel like a business if one platform is responsible for your entire income. It's sort of like having a boss.
