Hey there everyone,

I found MJ's Decision Matrix extremely helpful and decided to make a Google Sheets version for easier use. Right now I'm utilizing it to uncover what would be the best product to build for a new store my wife and I are creating. This will be the first time we approached eCommerce and we're going to implement the Decision Matrix to help our building process. We've made a simple Google Sheets file that helps calculate everything efficiently, so if you don't want to make a chart every time feel free to use ours!

Decision Matrix

Features

- Automatically calculates everything for you
- Customizable for whatever decisions you're making (current factors and numbers are examples only)
- Color-coded total values so you can see the best choices (using conditional formatting)
_______

The default midpoint condition is set to a value of 290, but if you needed to change that, simply right-click on any of the Total Value cells below the product column, select View More Cell Actions, select Conditional Formatting, click on the Color Scale rule, then change the Midpoint number from 290 to whatever works best for you. This is usually about 60-65% of the sum of the Value column (see the RED cell)
_______

I hope this will be helpful/time-saving for you

A Quick Question For Experienced eCommerce Members
