Hi Everyone,

After like maybe 10+ false starts in the past 3 - 4 years I'm finally committing to an idea - building personalized & relevant lead lists for sales reps in B2B SaaS organizations.

My day job is in Sales Engineering so i'm very familiar with the pain points of sales teams - and one of them is personalizing outreach which takes alot of time when done manually - however there are multiple AI tools that allow you to build detailed lead lists with personalization included. I plan on using these AI tools to build lead lists for sales teams.

I've been cold calling for the past week to VP's of Sales and similar job titles - have had a fair amount of rejections, bad numbers, voicemails, etc but I'm part of a sales discord where one of the members was interested in my services and I'll have that project delivered by end of week. I have faith in the numbers so if I keep going with the cold calls I'm hoping I'll hit my goal of acquiring one client per month.

Based on initial efforts I have a good feeling about this one - more to come ...

First Week Update - I've been making cold calls (not as much as i'd like too since work and life responsibilities get in the way). On the positive side ive been getting 1 person to pick up out of every 10 calls. The problem is that I'm getting "not interested" or "we use another competitor/do it internally"

I'm going to experiment changing my ICP since it seems like the companies im targeting have the resources to solve the pain point on their own. Maybe smaller company sizes. I'm also going to experiment with changing the times I do outreach to later in the afternoon - it seems like mornings are busy for most people.

How many?
Are you talking to the right person?
Don't take a no from someone who can't say yes. :)
