Heard this from a manager at a department meeting today and it hit home ...
Manager: How many people here are interested in watching basketball?
(only two hands go up)
Manager: How many people hear are interested in seeing the Milwaukee Bucks play the Houston Rockets tomorrow night?
(no hands go up)
Manager: It will be watched by an estimated 100,000,000 people in China.
Manager: What you may see as noninsteresting, others will find opportunity.
BTW, the reason it will be so big in China is that both teams have Chinese players - the Rocket have Yao Ming, while the Bucks are showcasing their rookie Yi Jianlian.
