I've recently left my old job as a consultant for major companies and decided I need to stop giving advice on how I WOULD run a company and get out there and actually DO IT.
Right now, I'm working on 3 different projects all in their infancy. I've put up a basic website for a specific medical product which I think will generate a healthy profit margin. Just contacted a wholesaler this morning so waiting to set up that account.
Also planning on networking with contractors looking to build & renovate buildings that are more sustainable(green). My mind has been racing with the potential opportunity in this nascent industry. Trust me, money will be made here in the next few years, even with the housing slump.
Finally, I'm going to a developing country in Africa where I've got some contacts w/ a team of 3 other people for a month. We have ideas and framework for plans, but need to get gov't approval and actually observe the reality of the situation on the ground before I can say if this is feasible or not.
